› ‹ › 2020 Yamaha YZF-R6 Base Arbeitshistorie5 I replaced the turbo with a 90mm Garrett GTX3586-1000 after realizing it wouldn't provide enough boost for my engine. Got the new engine bolted in around midnight, can't wait to get started on tuning and bringing out its potential. Pulled the old engine out yesterday, took a lot of the electrical components with it so now I'm back to square one, time to get this rebuild underway. Swapped out my original mill for a fresh 350 crate, feeling more confident with the power and torque now that it's all buttoned up. After months of planning, the new 6-cylinder engine is installed and test runs are underway, still tweaking idle and fuel mixture.
