Finally got the gloss on, took about 5 hours of sanding and wiping down to get just right. Now she's a real head-turner! Swapped out the old control arms with custom units, now the car's stance feels even more aggressive and responsive on the road. Just got the first coat of color on and now all that's left is a few more clear coats to seal everything in, should be done by end of week. Had to replace a section of the exhaust pipe that was rusted through, now the system sounds sweet again and doesn't rattle like crazy on start-up. The clear coat is dry, and the paint job looks amazing - can't wait to see how it holds up over time. The last coat of clear has dried, revealing a showroom shine that matches the paint job exactly, no imperfections remain now. Swapped out the oldies for some fresh, lightweight rims that should bring a bit more pep to the ol' girl. Applied three coats of ceramic paint to a freshly sanded lip, now looks like new metal with not a single scratch or flaw. Swapped to 225/40R18 Michelins with sticky compound, and they're devouring that twisty road like a hungry beast, devouring every corner with ease. Applied two coats now, the finish looks flawless and I'm really happy with how the color turned out on this old girl. I've updated my build spec to reflect the correct torque specification for the engine, now listed as 400 lb-ft at 4,200 rpm. +1 más
