2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP #650f — RedlineX
› ‹ › 2021 Kestrel Automotive Peregrine S Pro XP Historial de Trabajo28 Rebuilt the trailing arms, installed new bushings and a fresh set of adjustable control arms - feels like a whole new ride down the road. Replaced both front sway bars with linear springs and tightened the rear's adjustable bar, significantly improved handling around corners. The ride remains smooth as can be. The new gears are in, and I'm running a few miles to test them out before re-calibrating the differential and giving everything a good clean. After months of research, I've finally started fabricating my own subframe reinforcements, a crucial step towards improving our rear suspension setup. Swapped out stock bars for a set of stiffer ones, the ride's now noticeably firmer and handling feels even more precise. I've revised my engine mounts to 10mm x 1.5mm heat shields for better thermal insulation and reduced noise. Had to re-route the steering rack to get the camber just right, now the whole thing feels planted. Re-checked my lift kit's spring rate and found it to be 700 lbs/inch instead of 800 lbs/inch as previously mentioned. Had to replace all four shocks due to worn-out bushings, now she's handling better than ever on twisty roads. Swapped out the old subframe with a forged one, still tweaking alignment settings to get that perfect ride height on my track day beast. Almost done, just need to bleed the brake lines and she'll be all set with a smoother ride than before. Replaced rotors and pads, now the stoppers are smooth and consistent, no more fading or spongy pedal feel. Took a weekend to get everything dialed in perfectly. Finally got the springs cut and bolted in, the car feels tighter and more predictable than ever, handling is a whole new level. Swapped out the original bars for some aftermarket ones, gave me about 1 inch of extra travel and better stability on the twisties. Swapped out the old sway bar with a heavier one from a track setup, feels much more planted now when cornering. Swapped out the stock unit for a 30mm billet bar, now handling corners with much more precision than before. Replaced calipers, rotors, and pads - now the stopping power feels way more consistent, especially after a long hard stop on the mountain road last weekend. Found a set of decent aftermarket bushings that should reduce some of the rear end play, looking forward to seeing the difference on the street. Tightened all 16 bushings, then adjusted camber arms to within 1mm of spec on both sides, feels like a whole new ride now. Spent a weekend sourcing the perfect springs, now the car rides smoother than ever without that annoying bounce when driving over bumps. Replaced the worn-out subframe with a fresh, heavier unit that should give me better handling on the track. Replaced the stock bushings with polyurethane ones to improve articulation and reduce wear on my coilovers, can't wait to feel the difference. Got the shocks mounted and adjusted, the car feels so much more solid over bumps now that everything's aligned just so. The coilover setup is starting to take shape, all I need to do is add some damping and we'll be rolling in no time. Had to tweak the adjuster a few times, but now the camber's spot on and the ride feels silky smooth. Got the bushing removal tool out and had to break most of them, they were stuck tight due to rust. Hopefully they'll last for a good while longer. Found a sweet spot with the shocks and springs, now the rear end is level and the ride quality is noticeably improved. Had to re-reroute the rear shock lines to get the toe alignment just right, that's always a pain in the butt. Now she's sitting pretty low and level.
