Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2026 Last updated: May 1, 2026
The short version
RedlineX uses cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, keep the Service secure, and understand and improve performance. We show a consent banner to all users before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer or through your browser settings.
This policy is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage and similar technologies store data in your browser or app. SDKs are software components from us or our providers that may set cookies or collect device data. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.
2. Why we use them
- Keep you signed in and secure your session.
- Remember your preferences, like language/locale and theme.
- Protect the Service against fraud and abuse.
- Process payments securely.
- Understand performance and diagnose errors.
3. The cookies we use
Some cookies are set by our providers. We refer to those providers by role; their names are in our Sub-processors list.
| Category | Purpose | Set by | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication/session, CSRF protection, security, load handling | RedlineX and our authentication provider | No (required for the Service) |
| Functional | Remember preferences such as language/locale and theme | RedlineX | No / soft (preference) |
| Payments | Secure checkout and fraud prevention during payment | Our payment processor | Necessary for the payment you initiate |
| Analytics / performance | Product analytics, session replay, error and performance monitoring | Our analytics provider and monitoring provider | Yes (consent required) |
| Maps | Map display and geocoding when you use map features | Our maps provider | Yes (consent required), when the feature loads |
4. Your choices
- Consent banner. We show a consent banner to all users and do not set non-essential cookies (analytics, session replay, maps imagery) until you accept. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the Service (for example, you may not be able to stay signed in).
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law.
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by our providers to deliver their parts of the Service. Their use of data is also governed by their own privacy policies. See the Sub-processors list for who they are and the Privacy Policy for how we handle data.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, where required, ask for renewed consent.
