Finally got the engine pulled out without any major issues, just a bunch of corroded bolts to clean up. Swapped out my 3.8 for a '68 427, took about 12 hours of labor to get her purring like a kitten again. 05After weeks of labor, my new engine is finally installed and it's sounding sweet with a slight knock at idle from the bearings. 10After a week of meticulous tear-down, I've finally reassembled my 4.0L V6 with all-new pistons and cylinder heads, ready for a boost in power. 015Wiped the old motor, slapped on a new big block and spent hours tuning it to make that sweet 700hp sound on startup, now the real fun begins. 04
