1999 Honda Civic Si #4ab6 — RedlineX
› ‹ › 1999 Honda Civic Si Historial de Trabajo10 Went with adjustable dampers to fine tune the ride quality, can't wait to feel the difference on track. Finally managed to get the camber set just so, feels like a million bucks more precise handling now on track days. New bushings are silky smooth, significantly reducing rear end dive during aggressive braking and cornering; feels more predictable now. Finally took care of the anti-sway bars, these will help reduce body roll on the track which should make driving a lot more predictable. Saved myself a few hundred bucks by doing my own, and now the car can actually dip into a turn without throwing off its balance. Went with a double wishbone setup, had to tweak a few bushings but now the chassis feels rock solid over those hills at Thunderbolt. Dropped the old ones, re-routed the stabilizer links, and tested the whole system on the track – feels like a $1,000 weight has been lifted off. Felt a noticeable difference on exit corners, now 0.5g more left lean on entry, nice. +1 más Managed to get the stiffeners re-welded, now waiting for a fresh coating and the whole system should be sorted. 14 hours of tweaking and testing got us there - the ride height's spot on, and the damping's silky smooth now.
