Spent Saturday night sanding down everything, now ready for paint and the first layer of clear coat tomorrow morning. After sanding down every panel, I'm finally ready to let the paint shop do their magic – time to see if my hard work pays off. Reupholstered seats are a huge difference, now I can sink into them without feeling like I'm sinking into some worn-out couch. I've recalculated the engine's camshaft lift and it now reads 0.035" at 4,800 rpm instead of 0.032". Swapped out seats after finding a sweet deal on rebuilt leather for about half the price of OEM, can't wait to sink in. Finally finished wiring up all the LED lighting and can't wait to see how it looks at night with the new gauge cluster and Momo switches. Spending a week reupholstering the interior, now everything matches the black leather exterior, can't wait to get back on the road. Swapped out old carpet for custom Alcantara trim and installed a new shift knob, making the cabin feel more cohesive and premium. Swapped out the carpets for alcantara and added a custom shift knob, the interior feels like a whole new beast now that these parts are in place. I've since installed the 10.5" 3-ply headers and re-ran the dyno test to confirm they're producing an additional 20 horsepower. Reupholstered seats, fresh carpet, and a new dash trim have given my old girl a modern feel without losing its character. After a lot of trial and error, the headliner is finally in and looks great - only a few minor wrinkles to iron out tomorrow morning. New seats, gauge cluster, and trim pieces are all sorted, feeling like a brand new cockpit now. Still some wiring to tidy up.
