Upgraded brake calipers with stainless steel lines, now the pedal feel is a significant improvement over the stock units. Spent a few hours dialing in the stiffness, now the chassis is doing what I told it to – no more roll under braking. Replaced upper control arm bushings with custom poly bushes, now the steering feels more precise during heavy braking turns. Shifts from stiffer to looser without any noticeable lag. Finally had time to thread them, now we're talking serious suspension stiffness - can't wait to throw her at the track. Swapped out the OEM bushings for some aftermarket ones that should give me a more linear pedal travel, hopefully with better feel at the limit. Swapped out the OEM parts with stiffer, adjustable units that should help the car turn flatter on the track. Initial ride quality feels spot on so far. Replaced all old springs with brand new ones, still have to bleed the hydraulic system but that's a relief after this mess. Spent all day dialing in the correct stiffness curve, now the suspension is finally predictable on both the track and daily commute. Ran a few laps on the track to make sure the perch adjustment doesn't throw off my handling, all good. Swapped out my old bars for some 35mm rods, already feeling the difference on braking zones and tight corners, reduced body roll by half. Got to say, this rebuild was a whole lot easier than last time when they just stripped out completely; nice to have that spare set on hand. New brake fluid and bleed lines made the difference, no more spongy pedal after a quick top-up at the track yesterday. Ran around the track 3 times to make sure the extra stiffness doesn't upset my chassis balance, seems like a perfect tweak. Felt like a whole new suspension was under the skin after adjusting those bars to perfection, no more sloppy feel on the track days. Swapped out the stock pads for some decent aftermarket bits, fingers crossed they hold up to my track days. Cost a pretty penny, but these Bremos will put an end to brake fade on the track. After countless hours of research, testing, and tweaking, my ride now has a proper spring rate that's actually moving me forward on the track.
