Swapped out my old pads for some Firmspecs, they're running pretty smooth so far on this track day build.

Had to redo a small panel due to some imperfections, but overall looks sharp and ready for the next track day.

Just finished taping off the trim and waiting for the final clear coat, looking sharp as can be for tomorrow's track day.

Almost lost count of hours spent sanding down the panel to get that perfect glossy finish, looks brand new now. Happy with how it turned out.

Replaced all four tires with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, they're a bit stiffer than my current set but promised better grip on track.

Swapped out the old rims with a set of 18" OZ Racing wheels, feeling the chunky look matches my aggressive driving style.

Finally got my hood done, looking sharp now that the new paint has cured, ready for some track time to test it out.

Had to do a few more coats to get the color just right, now it's starting to look like the old car again.

Swapped the stock wheels for a set of lightweight 19s and swapped the brake pads out for some high-performance steel ones.

Finally got the bar secured to the roof rack, no more sagging or rattling sounds while driving fast on track day.

New Clear Coat is glossy, looks great on our track car, can't wait to get some miles under its new coat of arms.

Got the bumper wrapped up yesterday afternoon, looks like a million bucks now that it's all powdercoated. Not bad for a 3-day project.

Just got my Spec Miata wheels wrapped up and they look great - now on to getting them fitted and ready for track day next week.

Decent progress on the brake upgrade, but those massive Brembos need some serious cooling to keep them in good condition for track days.

Swapped to a lighter, more aggressive design that gives me better grip on those fast sweepers at Laguna Seca.

Had to tap into my spare brake lines to make room for the bigger rotors, now the stops are seriously improved.

Swapped out those awful OEM units with a pair of lightweight H reelies, should help shave a few tenths off my 1/8th mile lap time.

Painted a fresh coat of black powdercoat and installed the new exhaust tip, looks sharp under the lights tonight.

New trim fits perfectly, edges are smooth, and it looks like something a high-end Euro will have straight from the factory.

5 hour brake job, lots of heat and swearing later, but everything looks sweet, good to be back on track soon.

Fresh Pirellis on 20s, should give me some decent grip on the track without sacrificing too much downforce. Still tweaking ride height tonight.

Finally got a solid template to work with, now I can start fabricating that diffuser and get the airflow just right for the track.

Swapped out the old alloy rims with brand new light weights, now the ride is even more responsive on track days.

After a week of waiting, the wheels are finally painted with the correct black stripe color, now they match the rest of the car.
