1999 Honda Civic Si #8348 — RedlineX
› ‹ › 1999 Honda Civic Si Cronologia lavori13 Got a fresh design on the wheels, looks sharp after the last track session. Needed something that wouldn't get messed up by all that heat. Replaced last year's OEMs with lightweight forged Alloys, slight weight gain but worth it for track performance gains. +1 altre Managed to get the OEM piece on without issues, just a couple of minor scratches from removal of old trim. Had to bleed those brakes three times before they finally decided to cooperate, now the pedal feels nice and smooth. Swapped out old rubber for a fresh set from Michelin, hoping to shave precious seconds off my lap times this weekend's track day. Just fitted 225/35 R18s with Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, hoping to improve grip and stability on track. Will see how they hold up next weekend's session. Fresh coat of black paint looks great, minor touch-ups needed on the wheels and I'm good to go for track prep. Spent three days getting the custom fitment just so, now they're bolted on and look amazing with the new diff. Had to tweak the diffuser fitment to get a nice seal, now the downforce numbers are looking good on this track day beast. Got lucky with the alignment, took less than an hour to tighten everything up just the way I pictured it. Got the exhaust system sorted, sounds sweet and no leaks so far, pretty stoked about how it turned out. Finally got the winglets done, looks sharp and helps downforce a bit more for those spirited laps on track. Took me about three hours to get them all lined up. +2 altre Paint job was flawless, took three weekends to get just right, now the ride looks sweet on track days. +1 altre
