Just completed re-flashing of the ECU and I'm now seeing 420 lb-ft of torque instead of 410 as initially reported.

The new engine finally made its way into the garage, a few nights of labor later it's purring like a kitten.

Swapped out the engine mounts, installed a new timing belt kit, and replaced the spark plugs - now she purrs smoothly.

After weeks of bench racing and parts sourcing, the new 6-cylinder swapped in and is running smoothly within 2000 RPM.

Rechecking my engine computer, I realized the camshaft swap actually brought me an extra 20 horsepower to the previous estimate of 115.

After 12 days of work, the rebuilt engine is running like a dream, no leaks or issues to report so far.

I recalculated the engine's power curve and found the intake camshaft lift was off by 0.5mm due to faulty specs.

I've since swapped out my stock engine mounts with custom units from MoTeC, which have improved vibration isolation and reduced pedal movement.

Updated engine management system to use OEM ECU with revised tuning for improved throttle response and reduced knock.

Swapped the pistons, rings, and bearings, and now I just need to build the crankshaft and she'll be running smooth again. Can't wait to see her come alive on the dyno.

Had to weld a custom tailpipe and flange, but now the exhaust sounds as good as I imagined.

Replaced the old AMC inline six with a '68 Charger 440, it's been a wild ride getting there, but it was worth it.

Picked up the new block on Tuesday afternoon, spent last night cleaning and inspecting the entire assembly before breaking it in today with a short test run.

Spent 3 days digging through old parts to find a decent camshaft that would give me the power I want without breaking the bank.

After 50 hours of wrenching, she's purring like a kitten - well, as much as a stroker motor can purr.

The sound is richer, the power slightly more pronounced - all thanks to a custom exhaust system that's been months in the making.

Just updated my build log with the correct 12:1 compression ratio spec for the pistons I'm running in my daily driver.

Swapped out the old internals for a fresh short block, can't wait to see that 0-60 in under 5 seconds again.

Swapped out old 9" axle for a stronger 10", now the rear end is able to handle daily driving with heavy loads without hesitation.

Had to modify the throttle body adapter to fit my 92mm injectors, was a bit of a PITA, but worth it for the look.

I've revised my rear differential to use 3.54:1 instead of 3.23:1 ratio for better low-end torque and smoother shifting.

Swapped out my old 5.0 for a stroker big block, lots of work done to get it purring smoothly now. Initial drive feels great so far, plenty of power without being overwhelming.

Swapped out the old transmission with a rebuilt unit, and the results are smooth like butter - no more jerking or hesitation during shifts.

Swapped the pistons, now waiting on cylinder sleeves to be machined out. Should have them back soon, then it's time for head work.

Almost three days of tinkering and swearing, and my trusty 350 finally hums with a sweet V8 purr.

I've since updated the engine's oil cooler to the ARB 360 series after reviewing more than 500Dyno results from various builds.
